What Causes Warts

Many have wondered what causes warts. Well to put it simply, a wart is a harmless skin growth caused by some types of the virus called the human papillomavirus or HPV. HPV infects the top layer of skin causing it to grow rapidly, forming a wart.

What Causes Warts

Warts can be spread from one person to another by physical contact. However, just touching or even close physical contact with a person who has warts may not cause you to become infected. The deciding factor is the strenght of your imune system. Cracked or broken skin also allows the virus to penetrate more easily. Contrary to popular belief, you will not get warts from kissing or holding frogs. (unless the frog has HPV)

People can get warts regardless of their age or sex. As a matter of fact thousands of people around the world have some type of wart. So if you are one of those thousands, don't worry, you not alone and there are many ways to remove that ugly wart right here at http://moleandwart.com
