Home Remedies

 

If you have had a skin tag before, or if you have been told that what you have is a skin tag you can work at getting rid of it at home. How to get rid of skin tags at home can take on a few different approaches. You can take the snip it route, or you can take the chemical route.

 

The snip it route involves you, your skin tag and either a nail clipper or a small pair of scissors and some dental floss. The process is very simple and will take three minutes from start to finish. You simply wipe down the scissors or nail clippers with a bit of alcohol to get them good and clean, right after you have used a small piece of dental floss too tie off the tag. Tie the dental floss to the bottom of the skin tag, take your newly cleaned scissors or clippers and clip the skin tag right above where the dental floss is tied.   There will be a little bleeding, about as much if you nicked yourself while shaving which will stop easily with a little pressure.

 

Too gory for you to snip it off, than simply use either apple cider vinegar everyday for a week or two to wipe down the skin tag, or you can use a combination of baking soda and  castor oil, or even straight alcohol. All of the aforementioned agents will dry up the skin tag until it shrivels up and falls off. If you tie a piece of dental floss to the bottom of the skin tag and combine it with one of the agents you are almost guaranteed to speed things up!
